The Children’s Ministries at Heritage Bible Church are devoted to clearly teaching the Bible to the next generation and laying a strong foundation for a lifetime of faith in Christ. Through age-appropriate instruction and caring relationships, the ministry seeks to help children understand the truth of God’s Word and the message of the gospel from an early age.
Children’s Sunday School and Children’s Church provide opportunities for biblical instruction during the Sunday services. These classes are designed to give parents flexibility while ensuring that children receive clear teaching suited to their level of understanding. Students are taught the Scriptures in ways that help them grasp the meaning and context of biblical truth and begin developing a biblical worldview.
The ministry follows a readiness model that considers both the developmental and emotional readiness of each child, allowing them to learn and participate in ways appropriate to their age and stage of growth. The goal is not only to teach biblical knowledge but also to encourage children to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
Nursery care is also provided for infants and toddlers, serving both the children and their families by creating a safe and nurturing environment during church services. As the church continues to grow, this ministry remains an important part of serving young families and supporting parents as they participate in corporate worship.
Through faithful teaching, loving care, and the dedicated service of volunteers, the Children’s Ministries at Heritage Bible Church aim to help children know God’s truth and trust Him as they grow.
