The Biblical Counseling Ministry at Heritage Bible Church exists to come alongside members and regular attenders who are facing the challenges and hardships of life, offering encouragement and guidance from the Word of God. Because Scripture is sufficient to address the struggles of life in a fallen world, our counselors seek to apply God’s truth with compassion, wisdom, and care to help individuals grow in Christ.
Counseling is available for a wide range of situations, including suffering and grief, marital and family difficulties, parenting challenges, discouragement, anxiety, struggles with sin, and other personal trials. Our counselors aim to lovingly walk with individuals through these circumstances, pointing them to the hope, wisdom, and transforming power found in the gospel and the promises of Scripture.
The counseling ministry is staffed by trained individuals who are committed to the principles of biblical counseling and are pursuing or maintaining certification through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). This commitment reflects our desire to provide faithful, biblically grounded care that honors Christ and faithfully applies God’s Word to the issues people face.
To better serve those seeking counsel, Heritage Bible Church also provides dedicated counseling space near the church where individuals and families can meet privately with counselors. Through this ministry, our desire is to strengthen believers, encourage perseverance in trials, and help one another grow in faith and obedience as we follow Christ together.
