Luke 1:4 (LSB): . . . so that you may know the certainty about the things you have been taught.

Luke 2:1-20 is the record of the birth of Jesus and the announcement to the shepherds. We will read that passage in the service next week, as we do every year on the Sunday before Christmas. But there was a very significant series of things that preceded Luke 2. You are going to know the certainty about the things you have been taught.
