Confronted by the claim that Gentiles had to become Jews before they could be saved, the church in Antioch referred the problem to the apostles and elders in Jerusalem. They sent a delegation with Paul and Barnabas to Jerusalem. That gathering is known as the Jerusalem Council, recorded here in chapter 15 of Acts.
